Please note this is an out of production item from 2008. This is the RARE Sideshow 15" Sam from Trick 'r Treat. Sam comes with his bitten lollipop, burlap sack, and a stand. All are still sealed in the original box. Box does show some signs of shelf wear as shown in photos. He is complete and sealed in the box.
Why is this version so rare?
Legendary Pictures wrapped production on Trick 'r Treat in 2007, but Warner Bros. continuously delayed the film, eventually dumping it straight-to-DVD/Blu-ray in October 2009. Sideshow produced and licensed the vinyl figure in 2008—meaning it hit the market before the general public even knew who Sam was or had a chance to fall in love with the film.
Because the movie lacked a major theatrical marketing push, retailers didn't heavily order the merchandise. Sideshow kept the edition size intentionally limited to avoid being stuck with unsold stock for an unreleased film.
Finding a completely intact version today is difficult. Many original figures are missing Sam's bitten lollipop or have damaged fabric components (like his burlap sack head mask or footie pajamas), making complete, "In-Box" copies even rarer.
