Tariff Updates

With evolving trade policies and unexpected tariffs affecting all of us, both businesses and consumers alike, we understand this is a challenging time for many. We more than share in these frustrations. Below you will find information regarding tariffs and how they may affect some items ordered at The Last Toy Store.

You’re not alone. We get it. This sucks and we’re doing our best for you.

We understand that additional charges are unwelcome and upsetting. While these tariffs are steep and significant, we’re doing everything in our power to help absorb and minimize the impact on you, our customers.

Because these tariffs were unexpected, and are ever changing, they were not factored into the original price of our items.

To offset a portion of these new fees, a Tariff Surcharge Fee will be added to products that ship from our warehouse during this tariff period. It is our goal and intention to keep this fee at the smallest possible amount, to best support our customers and community. Based on the current and changing tariffs, we will share the cost of all the tariff surcharges with you, our customers.

It is important to note, that the Tariff Surcharge Fee does not apply to many in-stock items at The Last Toy Store.

If an item you have preordered with us is affected, we will send you an invoice notifying you of the Tariff Surcharge Fee due. Please note, as mentioned above, we are sharing the costs with you. We’re also waiving our non-refundable deposit (NRD) policy for these affected orders. Meaning, should you receive the invoice for the shared tariff surcharge, you can choose to cancel if the extra fee doesn’t work for you. Simply reply to the invoice or email us directly at creepin@thelasttoystore.com Our main goal remains; to ensure you, our customers, feel comfortable and confident with every purchase from us.

How the Surcharge Fee works

  • The Tariff Surcharge Fee applies only to items that we pay to import while tariffs are in effect.

  • Once tariffs are lifted, no surcharge fee will be applied to new items leaving our warehouse.

  • Products that arrived (or arrive) during the tariff period will continue to carry the surcharge fee until they sellout. 

  • Customers with orders affected by this fee will receive an invoice via email detailing the surcharge fee and which specific item(s) they have ordered that it is applying to.

Hoping for an end in sight.

We’re putting out all the good juju that these current conditions are short-lived. If you remember, we just opened our physical doors in October 2024 and this has been a massively unforeseen hurdle for us too. As always, we  remain committed to keeping your costs as low as possible while still delivering the high-quality products and outstanding customer service you expect. Should tariffs be lifted, we’ll IMMEDIATELY discontinue the Tariff Surcharge  Fee on new arrivals.
